Hot water extraction. A heated cleaning solution is driven into the carpet pile by a high-pressure pump, then pulled straight back out by a powerful vacuum, bringing the loosened dirt, dust and allergens with it. It cleans down to the base of the fibres, which is where the soil that dulls a carpet actually sits.

The machine extracts most of the water as it goes, so carpets are left damp, not soaked. How long they take to dry fully depends on the thickness of the pile, how heavily soiled they were and how well ventilated the room is. Opening a window or putting the heating on speeds things up. We will tell you what to expect for your carpet on the day.

Stain treatment is included as standard, and most everyday marks such as drink spills, mud and traffic lanes lift well. For pet accidents we use enzyme treatments that break down the urine and the bacteria causing the smell. Some marks, such as bleach or dye damage, have changed the fibre itself and cannot be cleaned out. If we think a stain may not fully shift, we will say so before we start.

Yes. As well as carpet cleaning we clean fabric sofas, corner suites, armchairs and dining chairs, area rugs and mattresses. Many customers have a sofa or a couple of rugs done in the same visit as their carpets.
